What is Hemp CBD Oil (Cannabidiol) & what are its benefits?
Hemp /cannabis derived CBD Oil (Cannabidiol) is a powerful non-psychotropic phytocannabinoid (plant compound) found in varying amounts in Cannabis Indica, Cannabis Ruderalis and Cannabis Sativa. Cannabidiol has become known for its neuroprotective, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory properties and benefits that extend to treating anxiety, depression, chronic or acute pain, and dozens of other significant health issues.
Our growers have focussed on creating hybrid strains that are high in CBD but somewhat lower in THC, the compound that produces the ‘high’. The CBD Oil
component accounts for at least 40% of the total cannabinoids extracted from the plant. CBD has proven to be effective as an alternative or complement to conventional drugs, treatments and therapies. CBD Oil can be used in all the following ways:

How to understand CBD Oil (Cannabidiol) product strength and calculate your CBD dosage
Use this equation to calculate product strength:
MG PER ML = (mg CBD) ÷ (ml container volume) >> e.g 750mg ÷ 30ml = 25mg per ml
Use this equation to calculate cost per ml
PRICE PER ML = (mg CBD) ÷ (unit price) >> e.g. 750mg ÷ $108 = $6.94 per mg
As a guide for dosage: 1 drop = .05ml / 20 drops = 1ml
Therapeutic effects of CBD and THC found in cannabis.
For many years people have seen great therapeutic benefits from the the use of products that have contain both CBD and THC however as you can see from the below graphic, based on the most recent empirical research, clinical experiments and a growing wealth of compelling anecdotal evidence, that THC free or low THC Cannabidiol (CBD Oil) products seem to be able to deliver all the wellness and medicinal effects most people would require. We know that humans and animals have an endocannabinoid system that naturally produces cannabinoid receptor proteins throughout the body. We produce our own endogenous cannabinoids that act on the body and human brain. The human brain has more cannabinoid (CBD) receptors (anandamides) than any other type of protein receptor. We also now know that the phytocannabinoids in cannabis match the human endocannabinoids so closely it’s almost as if the plant was created especially for us. We believe that cannabis should be decriminalized globally to enable easy and legal access to buy CBD products here online and anywhere else. Health and wellness is a Human Right!

CBD in Australia
Doctors don’t want to prescribe something until they are sure of a sound scientific basis for the decision. To date cannabis remains illegal under Federal, state and Territory laws across the country which means that the evidence available to justify prescribing the drug is limited, making it difficult for doctors. As of October 2017 only 150 or so Australians had been 'prescribed' cannabis.
The National system is not easy to follow. Since the requirement for dual sign-off – at a state and federal level was removed in April 2017, time taken to provide a prescription has fallen to 48 and in some cases, 24 hours which is some improvement.
Clinical trials of cannabis in a medical context are underway, investigating whether cannabis products assist with epilepsy, for pain relief and as a sleep aid. Over time, as more evidence becomes available to support these propositions, cannabis will become more readily available.
As in the USA, Australia is suffering a prescription painkiller epidemic. In those US states where cannabis has been made fully legal, overdoses from prescription painkillers have fallen dramatically.
In Australia cannabis remains scheduled in the same category as drugs such as heroin and cocaine and whilst this remains the case people who are found in possession for sharing or sale will be judged and punished similarly under the state and federal laws.
Although extracts like CBD may be derived from low THC strains of cannabis and even though they contain little or no THC they can still be problematic under current law.
The vast majority of Australians support the use of cannabis for medicinal purposes. The latest NDSH survey found that 84.4% of Australians support medicinal legalization, with majority support in each state and territory.
Medicinal cannabis is available in every state and territory, having been authorized at a Commonwealth level in 2016 however in practice actually getting medicinal cannabis is much harder. Patients still have severely limited access, long wait times and difficult bureaucratic processes.
The term 'medicinal' cannabis is a term very recently invented. There are variously vested commercial and government interests that would continue to have people believe that we are not capable of making any kind of independent, fully informed decision about their health and wellbeing.
The control of big drug companies over government and individuals is strong. These interests have fuelled the ongoing public debate about 'medicinal' cannabis, its production, control, regulation, taxation, administration, ownership, and possession really a well engineered distraction from the simple reality which is that this plant, cannabis, is already our own, has been around for thousands of years as a companion to humans and seems to be a gift from nature.
The phytocannabinoid system in this wonderful, versatile plant has a virtually identical 'mirror' in the human endocannabinoid system. The human CB1 and CB2 receptors are ready and waiting for CBD to arrive and increase our natural ability to heal. Go do your own research, become fully informed and empowered, and don't forget to follow the BIG money to find out who to really trust.
Tasmania is named after the Dutch explorer Abel Tasman. Tasman made the first reported European sighting of the island in November 1642. At the time he named the island Anthony van Diemen's Land after his sponsor Anthony van Diemen, the then Governor of the Dutch East Indies. Later the name was shortened to Van Diemen's Land by the British. In 1865 the island was officially renamed Tasmania in honor of its first European discoverer.
In the Jerilderie Letter written by the Australian bushranger Ned Kelly in 1879, Tasmania was sometimes referred to as "Dervon," and was called by this name. The state is often called "Tassie" and is sometimes shortened to "Tas" - mainly when used in business names and website addresses. TAS is the Australia Post abbreviation for the state.
The aboriginal name for the island is variously Trowunna, Trowenna or Loetrouwitter. The name Lutruwita is also used for Tasmania in a reconstructed aboriginal language. The name Trowunna and variations of this are sometimes used as the name of the island.
Aborigines were present in Tasmania about 42,000 years ago according to archaeological and anthropological evidence. About 10,000 years ago rising sea levels cut Tasmania off from mainland Australia. By the time of European arrival. The Aboriginal people in Tasmania had nine major nations or ethnic groups. At the time of the British occupation and colonisation in 1803, the indigenous population was estimated at between 3,000 and 10,000. They engaged in fire-stick farming, hunted game including kangaroo and wallabies, caught seals, mutton-birds, shellfish and fish and lived as nine separate "nations" on the island, which they knew as "Trouwunna".
Following the arrival of European settlers to Australia in 1788, thousand of aborigines died from European diseases; colonists systematically killed many others. At first contact, there were over 250,000 aborigines in Australia. The massacres ended in the 1920's leaving no more than 60,000. By this time there were thought to be no more than 400 Aboriginal people left in Tasmania.
Cannabidiol (CBD) is one of at least 113 active cannabinoids identified
in cannabis. It is a major phytocannabinoid, accounting for up to 40% of the plant’s extract. CBD is considered to have a wide scope of potential medical applications – due to clinical reports showing the lack of side effects, particularly a lack of psychoactivity (as is typically
associated with ∆9-THC), and non-interference with several psychomotor learning and psychological functions.
