What is Hemp CBD Oil (Cannabidiol) & what are its benefits?
Hemp / cannabis derived CBD Oil (Cannabidiol) is a powerful non-psychotropic phytocannabinoid (plant compound) found in varying amounts in Cannabis Indica, Cannabis Ruderalis and Cannabis Sativa. Cannabidiol has become known for its neuroprotective, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory properties and benefits that extend to treating anxiety, depression, chronic or acute pain, PTSD, seizures, and dozens of other significant health issues. Our growers have focussed on creating hybrid strains that are high in CBD but somewhat lower in THC, the compound that produces the ‘high’. The CBD Oil component accounts for at least 40% of the total cannabinoids extracted from the plant. CBD has proven to be effective as an alternative or complement to conventional drugs treatments and therapies. CBD Oil can be used in all the following ways:

How to understand CBD Oil (Cannabidiol) product strength and calculate your CBD dosage
Use this equation to calculate product strength:
MG PER ML = (mg CBD) ÷ (ml container volume) >> e.g 750mg ÷ 30ml = 25mg per ml
Use this equation to calculate cost per ml
PRICE PER ML = (mg CBD) ÷ (unit price) >> e.g. 750mg ÷ $108 = $6.94 per mg As a guide for dosage: 1 drop = .05ml / 20 drops = 1ml

Proposition 215 received 56% ‘yes’ votes in November 1996, making California the very first state to legalize medical cannabis. Cannabis for medical purposes is legal for patients with either a written or oral recommendation from a physician stating that they will benefit from medical cannabis. Medical marijuana cards can be acquired through the California Department of Public Health, but are not required to purchase medical cannabis from a dispensary.
Patients can possess up to 8 ounces of marijuana for any of the following conditions:
- Cachexia or Wasting Syndrome
- Chronic Pain
- Persistent Muscle Spasms, including those associated with Multiple Sclerosis
- Seizures, including those associated with Epilepsy

Medical cannabis is also allowed for any chronic or persistent medical symptoms.

Proposition 64, to legalize recreational cannabis, was passed into state law in November 2016. Under the law, adults aged 21 years and older can legally possess and use up to 28.5 grams (about 1 ounce) of cannabis and 8 grams of concentrated cannabis for recreational purposes. Adults are also allowed to cultivate up to six plants. Smoking is permitted in a private home, but it is illegal to do so while driving a vehicle or when in public places.

About California (CA)
California is bordered by Oregon, Nevada, Arizona, and the Mexican state of Baja California to the south. It has a wonderfully diverse geography that includes the Pacific Coast in the west, the Sierra Nevada mountain range in the east, the redwood–Douglas fir forests in the northwest, and the Mojave Desert in the southeast. The Central Valley is the major agricultural area dominating the states center. The state also has a diverse climate range – from a warm Mediterranean climate to moist temperate rainforest in the north to arid desert in the interior and snowy alpine mountains areas.
The region was originally settled by Native Californian tribes before being explored by European expeditions in the 16th and 17th centuries. It was first claimed by the Spanish Empire as part of Alta California in the New Spain colony becoming part of Mexico from 1821 to 1848 after its successful war for independence but was ceded to the United States in 1848 after the Mexican–American War. The western portion of Alta California then was organized and admitted as the 31st state in 1850. The California Gold Rush which began in 1848 led to large-scale emigration from the east and abroad an economic boom. Migration to California increased during the early 20th century with the completion of the transcontinental highways such as the Lincoln Highway and Route 66.
The culture of California is a Western culture and has its modern roots in the culture of the United States however historically has many Hispanic influences. Californian culture has been influenced by large immigrant populations, especially those from Latin America and Asia. The state has always been promoted by marketers as a kind of paradise and certainly in the early 20th century was seen as the ‘Golden State’, an ideal resort destination, sunny and dry all year round with easy access to the ocean and mountains. In the 1960s bands like The Beach Boys promoted the image of Californians as laid-back, tanned beach-goers. The California Gold Rush of the 1850s is still seen as a symbol of California’s economic style, which tends towards booms and related busts.
