In many countries, the subject of CBD remains contentious at best or simply illegal at present. We recommend our affiliates in all countries become informed and completely aware of local compliance when creating materials to publish or promote.
Despite CBD becoming legal in many jurisdictions – for example in the USA where it is federally legal under the 2018 Farm Bill – it remains illegal for The Good Earth website to diagnose or state that CBD cures or treats any major illness.
Open access to CBD remains illegal in jurisdictions such as Australia (apart from via the official and difficult path of prescribed MMJ – medicinal or medical ‘marijuana’.
We discourage using the term marijuana by the way as was created in the early 1930’s as part of the USA governments concerted campaign to demonize cannabis – however, we understand that the marijuana word may have SEO value.
The status of CBD awaits clarification in many other places around the world so please be fully informed about this wherever you are and try not to attract the wrong kind of attention or incur the wrath of the authorities. If you are in New Zealand you should refer the NZ Health Dept website for the up to date status of CBD. For Australia, you could refer to the Office of DrugControl.
We cannot stop our affiliates, or associates or anyone else from making statements independent of us that they may believe to be fact and we cannot actively encourage this. It is up to you to decide what is appropriate, or compliant, versus what your conscience dictates in the pursuit of your truth or simply stating your personal view or sharing a personal experience.
The list below indicates only some of the conditions or illnesses that remain firmly in the grip government agencies and the ownership of large corporations:
- heart disease
- epilepsy / seizure
- ADHD / ADD
- anxiety / depression
- chronic pain
The above list is not exhaustive so please do your own research – there are many other conditions and major illnesses where you should not state that CBD cures or treats.
